Cowley Tech is a small computer repair and website services business serving Arkansas City, Winfield, and the surrounding Cowley County area. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

Information you share with us
When you call, text, email, or send the contact form on this site, we receive the details you give us: your name, your phone number or email address, and whatever you tell us about the computer, device, or website project you need help with. We use those details to answer you, schedule the work, and do the job you hired us for.
Website usage data
This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google that helps us understand how people use the site. It sets cookies in your browser and collects usage data such as the pages you visit, your general location at the city level, the type of device and browser you use, and how you found us. Google reports this data to us in grouped, statistical form. It does not include your name, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Search data
We also use Google Search Console, which shows us grouped statistics about how this site appears in Google Search, such as the search terms that led people here and how often our pages were shown or clicked. This information is aggregate only, and it is never tied to an individual visitor.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information. We do not rent it out or trade it, either.
- We do not collect or store payment card numbers through this website. No card details are ever typed into, sent through, or kept by this site.
- We do not share your contact details with anyone except when it is needed to complete work you asked for, or when the law requires it.
Who helps us run things
Google is our one service provider for the tools described on this page. Google processes website usage data and search data on our behalf through Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, under Google's own privacy policy. When you reach us by phone, text, or email, your message also passes through the phone and email providers that you and we already use, the same as any other call or message.
How long we keep information
Contact details and job notes are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable time afterward, so we have ordinary business records for things like invoices and past repairs. Website usage data in Google Analytics is kept for up to 14 months, and Google then deletes it on a rolling basis. If you would like your contact information deleted sooner, just ask. See the next section.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. This site will still work fine, and we will simply see less about how it is used. You can also contact us to ask what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will do our best to honor every request promptly.
Changes to this page
If we change this policy, we will update this page and refresh the date at the top, so the version you are reading is always the current one.
